Research, studio work and inspiration
ABOUT
I am an assistant professor in landscape architecture at Cornell University. My work explores the merger of design and science. I'm interested in "strong" sites that push back at the designer via constructive/destructive processes and disturbance regimes, immersion in the material and fieldwork intensive design processes. My current research develops a "thick description" of the Susquehanna Watershed through the study of fracking, hydropower, and flood-prone communities. Please contact me if you're interested in similar topics!
